The Laurel Winter Shelter Women's shelter urgently needs volunteers to staff or provide transportation for Dec 29-Jan 05th.  The congregration previously scheduled for that week is unable to assist, but Bethany Community Church has stepped up to offer their building to host the shelter for that week.  Given the short notice Bethany has to set this up, (they also are hosting the shelter for both the men and the women the following week), they need help from the rest of the LWS community to cover this unexpected week.  Please click the online signup link below to see where help is needed.  PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN!

Women volunteers are especially needed, but men can help out as well.  No experience is necessary! Currently we have had approximately 3-6 women on any given night.  The church is located on Riding Stable Road in Laurel.
