Easter Vigil was beautiful, and we welcomed five people into full Communion: Vicki Johnson Kaitlyn Holbrook Stella Marie and Anthony Nkwenti David and Moyo Osifeko We congratulate each one and will continue to keep them in our prayers as they begin their neophyte year. We also want to congratulate those students who made their First Holy Communion on May 7, 2023: We also congratulate our Confirmation candidates who were Confirmed by Cardinal Wilton Gregory at the National Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on June 3, 2023.

The Altar Society will be purchasing red and white poinsettias to decorate the church for Christmas. If you would like to contribute, envelopes for Christmas Flowers will be available on the tables in the back of the church beginning Saturday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Dec. 20. If you aren’t attending church yet, and want to contribute to the Christmas flowers in memory of a loved one or loved ones, please send your donation check, payable to St. Nicholas Church, by Postal Mail to St. Nicholas Church, 8603 Contee Road, Laurel, MD 20708.
